I unfortunately don't have any good recipes to share, but I do have a question for any lj chefs out there.

I am trying to cook a romantic dinner for my boyfriend sometime next week because I have been a terrible girlfriend and have not yet cooked for him in 6 months. I am looking for very good recipes (preferably involving pasta because we're both pasta freaks) thats easy to cook in a college apartment kitchen.

so basically im looking for really nice classy gourmet recipes without costing too much, and with ingredients that are easily found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found a few online but they aren't special enough. Thanks in advance.

Fettucine Alfredo is an easy one-pot sauce that makes a pretty decadent impression, and custard is a super-simple dessert if you have a baking dish that will fit inside another baking dish for the water-bath. Both say "I slaved all day!" without you necessarily having to slave all day.
Good luck! College cooking can be tough.

add cooked chicken, cut up broccoli and spinach to the alfredo sauce to make it extra yummy and that's probably the best date entree I can think of.
